Summary

I think this is my new favorite book。 I ordered this knowing nothing about it other than it had good reviews。 I loved it and honestly couldn’t put it down。

I’m not a romance novel lover - I don’t need sex scenes to get through a book。 I literally laughed at the characters in this book - they were hilariously funny- the rhetoric between them was hilarious。 I lost interest when the flamboyant sex scenes started - just not my cup of tea 🤷🏻‍♀️ - it’s start at about the 50% way through mark btw。 But a cute story irregardless - we all want Knox deep down 😅

This book was INCREDIBLE!! I’ve been told by many to read it and I’m so glad I finally got around to it。 KNOX FREAKING MORGAN MY GOODNESS😍。 All my stranger things people… I was picturing Jim Hopper the entire time for Knox and it just made everything even better than it already was。 This book was EVERYTHING and I can’t wait to read the next one in the series。

🌟 4。0 🌟i really liked this book!! it took me forever to finish it but once i made myself read it it got soo good! ik a lot of people don't like kids in books but me personally i love it。 i fricking love naomi knox and waylay as a family。 the one main thing i didn't like about this book is knox was so annoying at some parts and some of the terms used in this book are。。 interesting。 also I UNDERSTAND。 SHE HAS A SOPHISTICATED VOCABULARY YOU DONT HAVE TO REMIND ME EVERY。 SINGLE。 TIME。 SHE。 SPEAKS。 i 🌟 4。0 🌟i really liked this book!! it took me forever to finish it but once i made myself read it it got soo good! ik a lot of people don't like kids in books but me personally i love it。 i fricking love naomi knox and waylay as a family。 the one main thing i didn't like about this book is knox was so annoying at some parts and some of the terms used in this book are。。 interesting。 also I UNDERSTAND。 SHE HAS A SOPHISTICATED VOCABULARY YOU DONT HAVE TO REMIND ME EVERY。 SINGLE。 TIME。 SHE。 SPEAKS。 i did love the relevance of daisies it was so cute。 overall: this book was really cute and enjoyable! 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 uau…

I’m sorry but this book was not for me…I didn’t even finish it and stopped in like a half cause it just got boring…I had a feeling as if everything was repeating itself over and over again and I just didn’t grow attached to any characters, I saw this book on Tiktok and instagram and everyone was saying how much they loved it as grumpy x sunshine romcom but this was not it…The wannabe sunshine character was acting most of the time like a child and I felt as if I was reading a wattpad y/n story wh I’m sorry but this book was not for me…I didn’t even finish it and stopped in like a half cause it just got boring…I had a feeling as if everything was repeating itself over and over again and I just didn’t grow attached to any characters, I saw this book on Tiktok and instagram and everyone was saying how much they loved it as grumpy x sunshine romcom but this was not it…The wannabe sunshine character was acting most of the time like a child and I felt as if I was reading a wattpad y/n story where the girl is not able to be independent or to be somewhat normal cause like the main characters whole personality was based on her loving coffee and being too organised 🤦🏻‍♀️The man hero sometimes sounded like he never met a woman in his life…if I could compare Knox to someone I would compare him to some kind of horny 15 year old boy that is annoyed with everyone’s existence cause that’s how he just acted…a man would never tell woman into her eyes while having their first time that he knew she would have a fuckable body…like maaan no。 I can’t say this book didn’t have its good moments but still it got extremely boring with characters that you can’t even relate to cause they’re just somehow stupid…also the forced stereotypical gay characters almost made me throw the book against wall…as someone who has gay friends and is bisexual herself I hate when people force gay characters into books like I love gay representatives cause it’s amazing that people put it up and show that it’s normal but why make someone gay and then build their whole personality off of them knowing everything about hair? All of it felt forced and don’t let me start on the fact that guy was almost 40 and went after a lost wannabe woman that was as far from being independent as me from the moon man…it all felt super forced and boring and now I’m repeating myself like the wannabe plot of this bookI think this book was not worth my money or time I gave it a chance and till now it’s laying on my shelf half tabbed and half read and maybe one day I will get back to it and try it one more time but seriously once something doesn’t catch your interest since the beginning and doesn’t catch it till the middle why continue? 。。。more

I love some of the authors books, but I tried again and was disappointed again… the dialogue was to fake fun for me, the story was too long and it was not exciting… last 150 I scimmed through。 This book was obviously not for me。

Taylor Wentzel

Idk why everyone is hating on this book I thought it was SO good。

I absolutely adored this book, I couldn't put it down。 The other reviews said this book made them cringe etc and at moments it did but i really did enjoy this book! There were so many tropes for just this one couple enemies to lovers, forced proximity, grumpyxsunshine, boss/coworker, small-town romance and fake-dating。 This book had me blushing and giggling like a school-girl。 I read this book in one day 2 sittings。 If you enjoy cheesy small town romances with a grumpy overprotective guy who see I absolutely adored this book, I couldn't put it down。 The other reviews said this book made them cringe etc and at moments it did but i really did enjoy this book! I HATED this book for like first 70% of the book! I wanted to stop reading it and found myself rolling my eyes or being grossed out by the “love” scenes but I kept reading because it was a book club book。 I have to say it came together in the end and I’m glad I finished it but won’t be recommending it to others。

Abigail Veloz

Spicy but too silly。

Maci Grammes

this book had me laughing and crying。 it was slow but not in a boring way, the family relationship part of the book kept me entertained when the romance was slow! easily one of my fav books now!

Dnfed @ pg204Knox acts like a 14-year-old boy in the way that he treats her the people around him is disgusting like you are a 40-year-old man I don’t know how to deal with your problems。 Like why are you physically fighting your brother every time you to have a problem bffr

4 stars - grumpy guy, new gal, family drama and a small town make this one my favorite type of steamy romances。 There are a few scenes that are NSFW 🫣 you will fall for Knox and Naomi and whole Knockemout crew!

Już od pierwszych stron pokochałam tą książkę。 Styl pisania autorki jest cudowny, a bohaterowie zostali naprawdę świetnie wykreowani。 Pokochałam główną bohaterkę - Naomi。 Poczucie humoru tutaj to złoto。 Pod koniec czytanie szło mi dosyć opornie i średnio chciało mi się dalej czytać, ale skończyłam。 Myślę, że mogę polecić wam tą książkę。 Naprawdę dobrze się przy niej bawiłam。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 this book was so freaking good, i loved it, for real。 the single mother trope was so so good, the small town romance was even better, one of my favorite trope for a reason。 the whole vibe the book had was incredible, i truly loved it。 the story was so interesting, well written, i loved how different it was from usual and i really didn’t saw the time pass。 the development of the family was just amazing, naomi, wayley and knox are so beautiful together and damn if felt right during the whole book。 this book was so freaking good, i loved it, for real。 the single mother trope was so so good, the small town romance was even better, one of my favorite trope for a reason。 the whole vibe the book had was incredible, i truly loved it。 the story was so interesting, well written, i loved how different it was from usual and i really didn’t saw the time pass。 the development of the family was just amazing, naomi, wayley and knox are so beautiful together and damn if felt right during the whole book。naomi is such a strong female main character, i admire her a lot, not only because she’s trying every single day to be a better person but also because she did her fucking best to be a good aunt to wayley when her life was fucked up, she always put her first even though she suffered and gosh it made me want to give her a million of hugs。 she’s that damn stubborn girl that always put others first even when herself is at her worst。 i love her so damn much, she’s such a cool character。knox was really a good character, his growing affection towards naomi was really well written and i really found it very cute。 always reassuring her, defending her, his acts of service were the sweetest, he really cared about her and i love him for that。 he was the first person that she relied on, he was the first one who lessened her burden and helped her whenever she needed it。 the relation he had with wayley made my heart melt, this was very cute and i loved how well they got along。 wayley was such a cool girl, loved her so much。 she was so smart and damn it made me want to be her when i was her age。 she’s so strong and i want to protect her until the end。 the only thing that i didn’t really liked was the part where knox broke up with naomi, it made me so frustrated, even though i understood where he came from and why he did it, some of his words were really trashy。 he called off things at the worst time, when naomi started to rely on him and to love him。 he repeated that he made it clear from the beginning that she shouldn’t get attached to him but what felt wrong to me was that his actions were the complete opposite, he gave her hope, he always did something that went over the line, that made her believe they could be more and blamed her for it after when he was the one who showed how much he wanted more。 the ending was overall really good, made me want to punch tina on the face too。 loved how knox was talking about a wedding after he almost lost naomi, that was kinda cute。 — special mention to honky tonk girls, you all were such cool badasses。 。。。more
